Dogfish Head Strawberry and Honeyberry Vodka Lemonade Cocktail Review – It’s just the booze dancing…

Several weeks ago, Dogfish Head sent us a press release announcing the release of three winter warmer beers. Of course we asked for samples, so the three cans arrived safely along with a little something something extra. That little something something was a canned cocktail that they call their Strawberry and Honeyberry Vodka Lemonade Cocktail. This of course promted us to ask:

What the hell is a Honeyberry?!?

Dogfish Head being Dogfish Head, they of course had an answer. Here’s what they say about this canned cocktail on their website:

“Wait, what is a Honeyberry?! They’re like a cross between a raspberry and blueberry.

Inspired by Sam’s visits to his friend’s honeyberry farm in coastal Maine, this scratch-made cocktail features our vodka distilled with honeyberries, macerated with strawberries and blended with a house-made lemonade.

Light coral in color with a fresh-squeezed lemonade haze, it exudes the well-balanced tartness of fresh-squeezed lemon combined with a sweet berry taste.
