Constellation Takes Stake In Non-Alcoholic Hiyo Brand
Constellation Brands has invested in non-alcoholic “social tonic” brand Hiyo. The investment was made through Constellation’s venture capital group and neither the cost of the investment or the stake were disclosed. Hiyo’s drinks come in four flavors—Blackberry Lemon, Peach Mango, Strawberry Guava, and Watermelon Lime—all at 0% abv and made with ashwagandha, L-theanine, lion’s mane, lemon balm, passion flower, and ginger, with 30 calories per serving.
Hiyo is currently sold in 3,000 points of distribution across the country, including retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Markets, and The Vitamin Shoppe. “Hiyo is one of the fastest-growing names in the functional non-alcoholic space, and we look forward to collaborating with the team to help bring their innovative products to even more consumers,” said John Utter, senior vice president of New Business Ventures at Constellation.
