Global ice innovators, Hoshizaki, is delighted to unveil their highly anticipated IM CUBE series of ice makers.
Developed with over 30 years dedicated research and development, this tried, tested and perfected ice machine range heralds the next generation of ice makers, and sets a new benchmark for ice quality, machine performance, and sustainability. Featuring a new enhanced motor that delivers energy and water saving proficiencies, the new range has improved serviceability and provides operators with total flexibility dependant on their needs, with optional features including an integrated internal drain pump and UV sanitation. Within the IM CUBE series, operators can find four core variants, which are aptly named to focus on varying technologies;
CUBE – Hoshizaki’s entry level model sets a new standard for ice. Perfect taste, perfect shape, perfect dilution – A bartender’s best friend, but also an operator’s best friend, thanks to optimal energy and water savings achieved via Hoshizaki’s new variable-speed direct current (DC) pump for making ice. This innovative feature provides a burst of power at the beginning of the ice making process to guarantee corners are filled to achieve a sharper edge, then slows as the cube forms to minimise energy expenditure.
FLEXICUBE – Including all the benefits of the CUBE, but with top-tier machine flexibility.These Ice makerspass space restrictions, even in inner-city locations. This is thanks to an integrated internal drain pump, which provides operators with more freedom around appliance placement in their venue, with up to 1.5m lift and 10m drain distance supported.
ULTRACUBE – Including all the benefits of the CUBE, these ice makers are equipped with UV light sanitisation for enhanced hygiene and food safety, which has two functions: air sanitisation and water sanitisation.
ELITECUBE – Combining all of the above, for a truly elite ice maker. All models within the IM CUBE range are capable of producing Hoshizaki’s signature 28mm sq ice cubes. Operators also have the option to produce smaller or larger cubes ranging 25mm sq – 32mm sq, popular sphere ice balls, or extra-large ice blocks measuring 48 x 48 x 58mm.
Simon Frost, Hoshizaki Director UK & Ireland, highlights the key upgrades that the new series offers:
“It’s difficult to improve upon perfection, but that’s exactly what Hoshizaki has achieved with our new IM CUBE range! Our already incredibly clear ice now benefits from even greater clarity and sharper edges – accomplishing a flawless 90oC angle not previously seen in the market. Beyond aesthetics, we’ve focused on refining several key elements, including water and energy efficiency, hygiene, durability, and maintenance accessibility to improve longevity.
The IM CUBE demonstrates Hoshizaki’s commitment to staying on track with the evolving demands of the food service industry. Designed with a deep understanding of customer needs, it provides mixologists and chefs with reliable, high-quality ice, empowering them to elevate their craft without concerns about supply or consistency.”
The CUBE and ULTRACUBE are also retrofit compatible with Hoshizaki’s drain pump, meaning operators can later add functions as their requirements evolve. Further peace of mind is achieved with Hoshizaki’s fully supported 3-year warranty. Operators of the previous IM series will be relieved to know that all IM CUBE spare parts are compatible with Gen II models, meaning operators can continue to operate these machines until the end of their product cycle.
