Background
Spice Up sells everyday products made by outdoor manufacturers, as well as domestic and international craft beer. Like other shops on the site, we came across this place while looking for some craft beer from Repubrew. The shop uses Stores as their base model to list items, and it’s a good model to use. Spice Up also has a physical store, with that being located in Nishi Oita, and just near the ferry port.
The online and physical store have both domestic and imported beers, though it’s the former that we’re more interested in. Additionally, there’s a wide variety of breweries from across Japan represented in the shop. On the last visit to the shop, the breweries were more modern than from previous generations of craft beer producers. This list includes Nomcraft Brewing, Kyoto Brewing Company, and Be Easy Brewing.
On top of this, there is also a small sale section where you can pick up some bargains. However, the beers do sell out quickly, so be quick.
