Way back in October, we received the following email from Kris Calef of beermonthclub.com:
It’s been a while, so I thought I’d check in and share that we’re celebrating our 30-year anniversary this year. I wanted to see if you’d be interested in reviewing any of our five beer clubs or have any up-and-coming gift-guides where we might be a good fit as we head into the holidays.
I’d like to send you a sample Rare Beer Club shipment including Lost Abbey’s The Last Sipper, an 11.5% blended oak-aged imperial brown ale which was brewed for our members to celebrate our anniversary, and Perennial’s Prodigal, an 11.5% Imperial Milk Stout with chocolate and vanilla. Both were real crowd pleasers. Go figure.
We obviously said yes, hence this video. To find out what we thought of these two beers and our thoughts on the Rare Beer Club in general, click play on the above video.
If you like what you saw and heard, please subscribe to our blog and YouTube Channel. It’s the easiest and BEST way to find out what we’ll be tasting next!
