When you ask a doctor about cancer, they are only allowed to tell you about traditional cancer therapies and those currently approved by the medical industry as either standard treatment or experimental.
They can not tell you about nutritional or natural as they are NOT medically accepted. They also discuss nutrition and natural alternatives in terms such as ‘unproven’ although this is actually not true for many natural and nutritional solutions.
The truth is that they also do not fully inform patients about the hazards and shortfalls of traditional cancer treatments. Some patients die horrible excruciating painful deaths, not from the cancer but the treatment. Some actually dying much faster than they would if they did nothing.
One who is suffering from cancer should read about the alternatives to traditional cancer treatment, both natural and nutritional if only to be aware of what choices that they may have even if the doctors will not tell them.

A good example of what natural and alternative therapies can do for you is in the story of Steve Jobs cancer treatment.
Jobs was diagnosed with PNET in October 2003 at the age of 56. The life expectancy was about 1.5 years at the time. With everything that the doctors could do, the life expectancy was about 5 to 7 years. He chose to start his cancer journey with natural and alternative treatments which many criticized. He died on October 5, 2011. Oh! 8 years with less suffering than he would have had using chemo and radiation.
PNET is a rare form of pancreatic cancer that accounts for less than 10% of all pancreatic tumors. PNETs grow more slowly than the most common type of pancreatic tumor, and are potentially curable if the tumor is removed before it spreads. However, Jobs tumor was beyond that point.
The sad thing is that Jobs was highly criticized for his choices of cancer treatment and for not having immediate surgery. His comment about this was that he did NOT want his body opened up by the surgery. And, literally, he could have died much sooner. The 5 year expectancy after surgery is only about 65 percent, not good. And he well outlived that.
On the other end of the Spectrum was Michael Landon who also had Pancreatic Cancer but was diagnosed late stage but did elect traditional treatment dies only 3 months later.
And then Patrick Swayze was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic cancer in 2008, had traditional treatment, dying about a year after diagnosis.
Aretha Franklin, the renowned American singer, Was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2010 passed away on August 16, 2018, also due to PNET
Alex Trebek, was also diagnose with pancreatic cancer, followed traditional cancer treatment and survived about 1 and a half years after diagnosis.
The real point here is that while Steve Jobs was severely criticized for his choice of natural and alternative therapies, outlived all of the others that chose traditional therapy. Perhaps Jobs was on to something?
