Moldavite

Hello and welcome back to The Schapera Show where Viv and Neil explore this big adventure called Life. This is the part of the show where I talk to stones and about stones, and our stone guest today is Moldavite. Moldavite isn’t actually earthly, but a tektite – which means it is extraterrestrial material that formed from meteoritic action. Moldavite is one of those minerals that comes from only one location, and in this instance, that location is the Czech Republic.

I think I would like to share how Moldavite got chosen as today’s guest. We just got back from a long trip and I didn’t know which stone to choose for this show. I walked around the house looking at stones but got no clear inspiration. “I know,” I thought, “I will just open Melody’s book and see who is on the page that the book opens to,” and on that page was Moldavite. Perfect! I use Moldavite in a number of ways just generally and also in Crystal Surgery.

The first way in which I engage the properties of Moldavite is as a protective stone that I wear. Moldavite has an extremely high vibrational frequency that many can detect just by holding the stone. What one may experience, if sensitive to this kind of thing, is a buzzing sensation throughout one’s body. This is the effect of Moldavite raising your vibrational frequency. Interestingly enough, the way that Moldavite is protective is that via its high frequency it sets up a screen in your energy field so that lower vibrational dynamics, like psychic attack, cannot penetrate. This is ideal because we want our energy fields to be permeable to positive dynamics even whilst protecting us from the negative. This screen is in contrast to say Peridot, which sets up a wall, preventing all exchanges of energy. Before jumping to any conclusions about which is better, remember that sometimes we want and need a wall. “Better” depends on the situation and there is no measure other than “appropriateness.”

I have found that faceted Moldavite has a better propensity for setting up this fast-vibrating screen than a raw stone. You can wear Moldavite as earrings, a pendant, a bead necklace and a ring. It is better if the Moldavite is not in a pocket, or hidden under clothes, but visible, in the open and able to refract and reflect the light.

A raw stone seems to be particularly powerful for introspection and other forms of looking deep into the mind and soul. According to Melody, Moldavite has intergalactic properties. She suggests that Moldavite can help us to access personally illuminating information from extra-terrestrial sources. I haven’t experienced this myself yet, but it does fit with what else I know about Moldavite.

The second way in which I engage with Moldavite is in Crystal Surgery. I use Moldavite in two significant procedures. I use it to adjust the pineal, pituitary and hypothalamus glands, and I use Moldavite to assist me in the Endocrine Rebalance procedure. In other words, I use Moldavite to assist in metabolism and hormonal balance. I don’t think that just wearing Moldavite will produce the desired effects, because the procedures include what we consider an active “surgical” adjustment, rather than just placing the stones on the body and letting them do their thing.

When I ask Moldavite what message it wants to share with you today it says the following: “I am here to help you in surprising ways. I am inorganic, and not even earthly, yet I am here to help you with your life on earth as my green color suggests.

“What you have to realize is that you are a spirit in human incarnation. That means you are not earthly either, yet here you are! Life on earth has numerous challenges and is even referred to as ‘the vale of tears.’ Coming to earth has you experience the pain of death – not only your own death but the deaths of the people you love. There is so much pain and loss. We take these challenges and sorrows very personally, and we allow ourselves to be weighed down by them, thinking that this is what life is about. My job is to help you make sense of your human incarnation from the perspective of your soul, not your life. Ask yourself: ‘What is my soul learning here?’ Look deep for the answer.”

As I hear these words from Moldavite, I think about an intense personal experience of my own – the death of my son. Although I speak about this often, there is an aspect that I seldom report. I follow an astrologer who always gets my forecast right. This is astonishing, but there is an explanation. The explanation is that I have 4 planets in my sun sign, and so I come out so classic that the monthly horoscope is accurate for me. Anyway, this same astrologer said in my horoscope that I should put an asterisk next to the date January 4, 2013 because it was going to be the most fantastic date in my entire life. That turned out to be the exact date that my son died. How can such a day be “the most fantastic date in my entire life?”

I have long understood that the thing and its opposite live in the same space. I understood, that by being willing to give up my son, I had received the key to the kingdom of heaven – and yes, that is indeed the most fantastic day in my life, not for my earthly incarnation, but for my soul!

I believe that this is the specific dynamic that Moldavite is referencing. Although it brings tears to my eyes at the layer of my earthly incarnation, it also lifts me up as I remember that every single one of us is definitely and unquestionably going to die. Death is not a bad thing in itself – we are all mortal and we all have a death day. By this, death is an inextricable result of life.

Moldavite adds: “Every human incarnation has a death day. This is inevitable. But not every soul has a birth day. Remember to appreciate your life in the right manner so that you don’t lose out on the immense magic of having your time on Earth.” Thank you, Moldavite, this is really deep information for us to ponder.
