  • 2 turnips, peeled and cut into 1″ pieces

  • 6 carrots, peeled and cut into 1″ pieces

  • 1/8 cup organic grass-fed butter

  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • pinch of black pepper

  1. Fill a large pot with water and a sprinkle of sea salt and bring to a boil.

  2. Add the turnips and carrots to the pot and boil for 25-30 minutes or until fork tender.

  3. Drain the water and add the turnips and carrots back to the pot and mash with a potato masher.

  4. Stir in the butter, rosemary, sea salt and black pepper.

  5. Serve as a side with your favorite protein.
