Hello and welcome back to the Schapera Show where Vivien and Neil explore this big adventure called life. This is the part of the show where I, Vivien, talk to and about crystals.
We have been talking to members of the Beryl family and we are going to continue that today by talking to Heliodor, which is the yellow Beryl. Sounds like the yellow peril but it’s not. It’s the yellow Beryl and it’s the opposite of peril.
Heliodor’s meaning is rooted in its Greek origins—meaning gift of the sun, from Helios for the sun and Doron for gift. Heliodor is aptly named because it embodies the sun’s warmth and positive energy.
With its yellow color, it is of course associated with the solar plexus chakra, promoting self-confidence and self-empowerment. The solar plexus chakra includes the organs of self, and I think I have spoken about them before, but I’m going to talk about them again today because we are talking about the solar plexus chakra and it’s very important.
Here’s a list of those organs: the liver, the spleen, the kidneys, the stomach, and the pancreas.
Because Heliodor is a Beryl, it enlivens the nervous system. You see, aquamarine and morganite—they’re Beryls—they really affect nerves. So does Heliodor, but in a somewhat different way. It’s quite interesting. It will come through when you see what else we’ve got to say here.
So here’s the thing that Heliodor does: it strengthens the flow of messages coming from the brain to these organs of self and helps them to function better.
Interestingly enough, in crystal surgery I use Heliodor together with carnelian, eudialyte, and metamorphosis cords to reseat the energy body inside the physical body. When I do this, I place the carnelian on the second chakra, eudialyte on the heart chakra, and Heliodor on the solar plexus chakra.
Then I use a metamorphosis cord sphere to adjust the way that the energy body is connecting into the physical body in the same way as we seat a battery in its compartment to line up correctly with the contact points so that a circuit can be established.
That’s exactly what we’re doing when we reseat the energy body in the physical body because the energy body is like the battery of the physical body. It’s got to connect in.
Of course, there’s a lot more contact points between an energy body and a physical body than there are between a battery and a flashlight, for example. That’s just the two connection points for that kind of battery. But an energy body has a lot of connection points.
An energy body can still be functioning and still not be seated correctly. Whereas a battery, if it’s not seated correctly, the thing won’t function at all.
So last month we went through the information that AI gave us about Morganite. Morganite commented on all the listed properties, but Heliodor said, you did that last time but I don’t want to waste time on padding.
I thought that was funny—that AI was padding an answer. Anyway, Heliodor continued, I just want us to focus on the accurate information. I thought that was pretty good. It takes a long time to read through what isn’t correct and what’s the point.
So there’s Heliodor doing its action of clarification.
So let’s begin with what AI said:
Physical healing properties: immune system and digestion.
Heliodor is believed to strengthen the immune system and aid in the treatment of digestive issues including liver, spleen, and pancreas problems.
Well there we are. Those are the organs of self. That sounds right, doesn’t it? And Heliodor says this is correct. I help the organs of self. I can convert the energy from the etheric realm to strengthen these organs in the same way as plants can convert the energy from the sun into food.
Emotional and mental healing properties:
- Confidence and personal power.
As a stone of the solar plexus chakra, Heliodor is said to enhance self-confidence, assertiveness, and personal will. And all Heliodor says to that is yes, this is correct. And of course we did touch on that already. - Hope and optimism.
It is known as the gemstone of hope, helping to remove feelings of despair and replacing negativity with optimism. Heliodor’s comment: indirectly yes, but not directly. I am the stone of sunlight with the emphasis on light. That means that I dispel darkness and despair and negativity because they are dark. So yes, my action does affect those dynamics. - Clarity and decision making.
Heliodor is believed to bring mental clarity, helping with objective and fact-based decision making and promoting intellectual capabilities. Heliodor says yes, these are capacities of the nervous system. I am Beryl and I enhance the nervous system. - Intuition and communication.
It can enhance intuition, make it a useful tool for meditation and divination, and is also thought to improve communication abilities. To which Heliodor says yes, these are functions of the nervous system so I do enhance these functions.
So anything to do with thought, communication, engaging your brain, communicating out—Heliodor is going to be able to assist you with. It’s basically that.
When I ask Heliodor what message it wants to share with you today, it says:
You have all heard the quote attributed to Nelson Mandela, but actually by Marianne Williamson from her book, A Return to Love:
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We are all meant to shine as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
This quote, often referred to as “our deepest fear,” encourages individuals to embrace their full potential and inner brilliance rather than shrinking from it due to fear or insecurity.
Heliodor continues:
My contribution is to reignite the light within you. If your inner light has gone dull, I can assist you in brightening, strengthening, and projecting this inner light outwards so that you can manifest your personal contribution here on earth.
If you have imposter syndrome, I can help you conquer your self-doubt. If you feel discouraged or overwhelmed, I can energize you. If you feel blocked by outside influences, I can help you overcome these obstacles.
I do this by shining my golden light on you, dispelling the shadows, creating a spacious zone of growth. Once the darkness is illuminated, everything looks different. In light, fear recedes and right actions follow.
How powerful is that?
Clearly, Heliodor is all about personal power and harnessing a smooth flow between body, mind, and spirit.
