Debut album ‘Saturnine’ manifests FELTs atmospheric, heavy pounding soundscapes with ethereal vocals and roaring guitars

After gaining momentum with four singles earlier this year, FELT finally unleashed their debut album into the world. ‘Saturnine’ yields more than half an hour of catchy, atmospheric songs, blurring the lines between shoegaze and alternative rock. With Koen Castermans (HEISA) on guitar and Jan Viggria (The Guru Guru) behind the recording desk, ‘Saturnine’ takes the listener on a journey of cascading emotions.

While a feeling of danger and tenseness is the driving force on the opening track ‘Antlers’ and continues in the later track ‘Gemini’, the tone becomes more bittersweet and pondering in ‘Dungeon Deep’, escalating the fuzzy blend of shimmering sound and Hannah Christina’s floating soft vocals. The closing track ‘The Pull’ rounds up the listening experience by delivering a catchy banger that will be positively stuck in your head for days.

The album is available on all streaming platforms and can be purchased on CD at the upcoming FELT shows.

‘Saturnine’ was recorded at GAM Studio in Waimes, Belgium, by Jan Viggria, mixed by Jonathan Frderix and mastered by Jerboa Mastering.
