The first edition of DreamScenes was published in October 2014. This means that the September 2024 edition celebrates the 10th anniversary of this monthly series!
For this occasion, I have combined ALL DreamScenes episodes on a 32Gb Credit Card USB, which is available in a very limited edition (45) from Bandcamp. That’s 120 (One-Hundred-and-Twenty!!) hours of music on one USB card – a massive collection of dreamlike atmospheric mixes.
“Dreamlike” does not simply mean the music is intended to sleep (or meditate). Not all music is ‘calm ambient’, there are also darker, or more experimental moments. After all, not every dream is a comfortable one.
This collection represents a significant selection from the ambient, electronic, experimental, and (sometimes) modern-classical music of the last ten years. But it cannot be a ‘complete’ overview of the genre: the (‘dreamlike’) concept of these mixes defined the selections. There is álways more music to be left out than can be included.
The first 32 DreamScenes editions (before DreamScenes became a monthly radio show) are included in 320kbps MP3 format – all remaining editions are in FLAC format. Extensive track details are included for each edition.
