Say falafel, and you say Tyros Lebanese Food Cart. It’s that simple. At Tyros, they serve Lebanese falafel wrapped with lettuce and other toppings. The homemade tahini sauce is a must. Also great is the hearty lentil soup with bread.

At Himalayan Kitchen, you’ll get the tastiest food from the Himalayan region. Fun fact: this food truck was born during lockdown when their restaurant had to close. It turned out to be such a success that they’re still there. You can also dine in at their restaurant at Ten Katestraat 45h.
Jen’s Bing
We previously wrote about the expansion of Jen’s Bing to Amsterdam East, but it all started with the success at Ten Katemarkt. The undisputed hit of this stall? Dan bing, one of the most classic yet straightforward dishes in Taiwanese cuisine: a savoury pancake. It’s not just locals, but also people from other neighbourhoods who come to Jen’s Bing for this. Tip: try the one with kimchi and cheese.

Het Warme Noten Gilde (The Warm Nut Guild)
Since 1979 (!), Het Warme Noten Gilde has been a household name at Ten Katemarkt in Amsterdam. Ron Ruijgrok roasts the nuts fresh on-site, and the irresistible smell greets you from afar. Hard to resist, especially when you see the vast selection spanning the three-metre-wide stall.

Samen fietsen door Shanghai 🥰! Met stip een van de mooiste nieuwe herinneringen die we deze meivakantie maakten.
China; je was GE-WEL-DIG! Ontelbaar veel kommen met noodles, iedere dag bao buns en dumplings in alle vormen en maten 🥟, de lekkerste Peking duck ever, panda’s 🐼 en dwalen door de Verboden Stad en over de Chinese muur.
De tips komen er aan, maar eerst BACK TO WORK en school.
Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jij voor leuks hebt gedaan de afgelopen twee weken. Van nieuwe restaurants tot iets leuks in Nederland of misschien was je ook wel op reis?

MINI VLOG vanuit Hong Kong! Wat was het genieten om hier weer terug te zijn 🐉. Al etend de stad door, waar ik misschien wel 10 x geweest ben, maar waar altijd iets nieuws te ontdekken is.
Omdat de laatste keer in HK al een tijd geleden was wilde ik ook graag naar wat klassiekers terug die we niet in Nederland hebben! Dus de 1e avond gingen we direct na het inchecken door voor een easy dinner bij DTF 🔥 op loopafstand van ons hotel.
Geen trending audio, wel real time verslag van onze reis zonder al te veel te editten ☺️. We zijn namelijk iedere dag de hele dag op pad en zo in het moment aan het reizen. Weinig tijd voor social updates, maar wel heel veel tips voor een nieuwe Hong Kong Travel Guide. Dat gevoel doet me bijna denken aan onze wereldreis een paar jaar geleden 🥰.

Nieuwe lievelings van het team achter Metro!
Ik neem je mee naar @caferestaurantsandberg waar je 7 dagen per week kunt lunchen in Amsterdam alsof het weekend is.
En zo werd een doodgewone woensdag opeens een little Friday ☺️ met 🦪, 🥂 en meer 🍾.
Dagkaart meer dan goedgekeurd, nu snel nog een keer terug voor de avondkaart en het bewonderen van de lichtval als het gaat schemeren. 🥺
Had ik al gezegd dat ze ook een terras hebben aan het Museumplein? ☀️
