Green leaves on every tree in Amsterdam, golden light covering the canals and the seed of the elm trees (so called “spring snow”) gently dancing in the light breeze. People are drinking beer and eating bitterballen on boats, picnicking in the park, enjoying the unexpected warm temperatures and every bit of sun. It’s May 2025 in Amsterdam, but it feels more like July.
Summer is in a rush this year. I can’t say I’m not enjoying it, but some days I worry that we will get all the summer sun now, and then have a rainy summer. Happy to have a few hours out in the city with my camera, I strolled the streets aimlessly and took a few snapshots to remember these days.

Check out this doggo who took over the baby stroller (the baby is with the wife, a few steps behind). I feel like he got his glorious moment!
