- Make sure to read plenty of first-hand accounts of what it’s like to work with animals before committing to a volunteer position

With the advent of technology and social media, it’s possible to get plenty done from a digital position.
- Advocate for the latest animal rights issues and use an image resizer to post high-quality images across social media
- Online fundraising platforms allow you to easily contribute to non-profit projects as they arise
- If you have a strong online following, you can help shelter animals to find new owners by posting them on your feed
