“Why won’t my legs work?” Her panting was actually panic.
This beauty was hit by a car and her bright courage alone was not enough. She needed help, right away. Once she arrived at our hospital, her agitation was soothed by the presence of relaxed dogs all around her. She stopped struggling and allowed us to begin her treatment for pain and inflammation.
Most of all, she needed rest, food, more rest, and patience. We named her Hannah–a gentle breeze of a dog. Even after 2 weeks of bedrest, Hannah still couldn’t stand. But we didn’t give up, and neither did she. Meet Hannah now!
