Can you imagine being handled this much, suddenly, in the midst of acute pain, and never nip, never even growl?
Even when his skin felt like it was on fire from mange parasites; even when he was terrified; even though he had probably never been touched by a human, Jet was gentle.
Our mange treatment protocol includes medicine and many, many baths. But the relief comes within just a few days. Food tastes good again. Peaceful sleep is possible. And gradually, as the fur begins to grow back, friendship too can grow. Jet proved to be a lovebug, but his poker face didn’t fool us. His eyes expressed his sweetness all along.
