Among 2024 submitted films from 92 countries from across the world, World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb presented its official selection for the Grand Competition – Short Film, Student Film Competition and Croatian Film Competition categories of the 2025 edition.
More than 900 films were submitted for the Grand Competition—Short Film category alone; 45 were selected to be presented at the festival. From more than 1000 student submissions, 40 films were selected for the Student Film Competition, while the Croatian Film Competition will feature 24 films.
