Some time ago the band MILM asked me to make a sci-fi music video for a concept album of theirs, and after production and some festivals it’s now online! It’s about an alien abductee who manages to escape his captors with a ray gun that can transform anything, and as you might imagine he ends up going a bit too far:
Everything was modeled and animated in Blender, with the NPR toon styling handled in the compositor. Geometry nodes were a big help for automating the transformation effects.
