| Unfamiliar wins “Best Super Short” at Int’l Gold Awards |
Congratulations to the makers of Unfamiliar, which has won “Best Super Short” at the International Gold Awards.
Unfamiliar was created by our Third Year Graduating Class of 3D Animation Students at Escape Studios. It was written and directed by Catherine Hall, edited by Lucie Massamba and produced by Xhoana Tola. The lead animator was Ruby Ebbs. Industry feedback was generously provided by Charlie Tetlow and Felipe De Lanteuil from Industrial Light & Magic. This is its first festival award.

Software
Unfamiliar was animated in Autodesk Maya, rendered in Unreal Engine, and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
