CHECK OUT CABIN TALES
Now let’s get into the interview!
1. Tell us about Cabin Tales!
Cabin Tales is an award-winning horror audio drama. It follows the story of a book called ‘The Cabin Tales’. We the listener, enter this creepy cabin in the woods and are greeted by this imposing and scary man; The Storyteller. Every night (episode), he tells us about a story. Every story is fully-acted, produced and delivers a fully immersive and terrifying audio experience.
2. What are some goals for the project?
At first, I created Cabin Tales without expecting anything. I’ve always been a huge horror fan and I started writing these short stories on the side, just for fun. One day, my friend Tyler gave me the idea of voicing them. This idea became the foundation of what it is today. Some goals for us would be to just… Keep going! We have so much to tell, so much to create. We wish to keep building this world for the fans, but also for ourselves.
3. Since Cabin Tales is an An Award-Winning Audio Horror Series, what advice would you give someone who wants to create a successful horror series?

If you truly believe deep inside that your concept is a good one, that you feel this raw passion for it, then don’t let anyone tell you it’s not. Just go for it! The care you give to your work will show. But also; don’t believe or hope for an overnight success. It takes time and a lot of work. Do your best, don’t overthink it and just get to creating.
4. Biggest success story so far?
The easy answer would be to have won the Signal Award for Best Individual Episode, especially as an anthology. But I think what I’m most proud of is how much people are having fun with it. This sense of community, of fans making their own spin-offs or theorizing on what’s next… To me, that’s success.
5. If you could pitch the series in five works what would they be?
Intense. Captivating. Bone-chilling. Terrifying. Horror.
6. Where can folks support your work?
