Kizaru attacks Sentomaru, who struggles to hold his own. As soon as the vice admirals see Kizaru land on Egghead, they order the fleet to push toward shore. The Sea Beast Weapons try to sink the ships, but the vice admirals fight back hard—taking out a bunch of them—then move on to the Pacifistas on the coast to stop them from firing.
While fighting, Kizaru and Sentomaru think back to the past. Kizaru and Vegapunk found Sentomaru as a kid in the forest, starving but still fighting off bears after getting kicked out of his village. Impressed by his guts, Vegapunk hired him as a bodyguard. Over time, Sentomaru looked up to Kizaru and started calling him “Uncle.” Kizaru clearly hates having to fight him, but still lands a brutal hit that takes Sentomaru down. He grabs the authority chip and changes the Pacifistas’ orders—now they’re attacking the Sea Beast Weapons. Once those are wiped out, the vice admirals report to Saturn and keep moving the fleet forward.
Admiral Kizaru and Luffy clash
Vegapunk, Edison, and Atlas see Sentomaru fall and double down on cracking the Frontier Dome password. Inside, Lilith and the Straw Hats get ready to evacuate on the Thousand Sunny. But Kizaru breaks through the dome and heads straight for Vegapunk. Just then, Lucci turns on the Straw Hats, trying to Shigan Vegapunk. Stussy reacts fast—she blocks the hit but takes major damage. The crew jumps in immediately: Sanji traps Kaku in a bubble, and Zoro takes on Lucci.
Meanwhile, Franky tries to carry the Sunny to safety, but Kizaru spots him and charges up a laser. Before he can fire, Luffy launches out of the ship and hits Kizaru, kicking off their fight. Throughout the One Piece series, Kizaru has been looming as a major threat to Luffy, the Strawhat’s, and Pirates everywhere. Probably one of the ten living characters, Kizaru primarily due to his devil fruit ability is nearly unstoppable. The One Piece fighting system is well balanced, allowing devil fruit users to be defeated by non users (most notable Gol D. Roger). However, Sentomaru was never going to be a match for Kizaru.
This leaves the much anticipated battle between Luffy and Admiral Kizaru. Should be epic.
