That’s almost an Aquariongasm, I guess.

Impressions:

Ehhhhh. The repeated attempted stabbings are probably a step forward, as was the incredibly bizarre attitude from them that attempted murder from a deranged tween is something we all just need to learn to live with and be ready to throw hands at any point. And I suppose them defeating the monster of the week by hugging it, kissing it, and it presumably being so embarrassed by the entire ordeal that it just blew up is sufficiently Aquarion. I at least get that stuff. Both wanting to stab the characters and wanting to blow up if kissed by a giant robot piloted by horny tweens.

But everything else remains boring and utterly uneventful. They angstily shuffle around, rambling incoherently about past lives, destiny, and how they have existential angst about anything and everything, while the obvious Touma dude rambles cryptically and gives them upsetting hugs himself. At least little miss stabby wants to do something, which is more than can be said for the half dozen other characters, though even she just has a compulsion to stab someone else in the face in between saying how much she actually loves her and doesn’t really want to stab her if not for the existential murder lust.
