Allegra are, as is the custom, taking a Summer break from 1 July to 1 September. During this time, we will hopefully enjoy some time to rest and recharge amidst the generalised madness that surrounds us. And not review any submissions during that period…
Fortunately, we also published some wonderful stuff over the past couple of weeks and months, which should tide you over and provide you with stimulating summer reading, including:
- An extensive thread on ‘Recalibrating Syria‘, 15 shorter essays trying to make sense of most recent developments in post-Asad Syria.
- A string of reviews of new and excellent books on Palestine
- A couple of inspiring fieldnotes, among others from China, Iraq, and Ukraine.
- And a few illuminating standalone essays, including on academic publishing, changing Syria, and reviewing creative pieces.
Happy reading and see you again in the Autumn!
