A 17th Century Italian Baroque Marquetry Cassettone

A rare and richly detailed Italian Baroque walnut cassettone, circa 1680–1700, likely from Lombardy. Features four drawers with finely inlaid marquetry panels depicting pastoral and hunting scenes in fruitwood, framed by deeply carved foliate motifs. Includes a hidden frieze drawer with additional inlays. Original brass pulls and warm patina throughout. A superb example of Northern Italian craftsmanship.
