Rooftop bars are something of a modern-day phenomenon. They started popping up in the mid 2010s and have only exploded in popularity since. They give urban dwellers in congested cities an outdoor area to hang out and relax, and they offer up great views of stunning city skylines.
Columbus is home to numerous rooftop bars, but the one at Budd Dairy has everything you could want, plus it has Rooftop Vibes every Saturday night with local DJs.
What’s Budd Dairy?
For those who haven’t been Budd Dairy is one of Columbus’ latest food hall concepts, but it has a leg up on its competition: the building has a ton of history. The exterior of the building, left preserved, dates all the way back to 1916 when it was originally devised as a milk processing plant. Times have changed, and the humongous brick building is now home to 10+ chef partners and multiple bars throughout.
The space is nestled in the heart of Italian Village, just minutes away from campus and the Short North. The food hall opened its doors in the spring of 2021, and it’s been a cornerstone of the Columbus Community ever since. There’s plenty of seating inside and out, and having the choice of 10 different menus is nothing short of exciting for foodies. Plus, the chef partners are all beloved Columbus eateries or food trucks that have been brought to one central location. There’s a lot to love.
Party it Up with Rooftop Vibes
Budd Dairy brings the excitement in the neighborhood every Saturday night with Rooftop Vibes. Climb the stairs (or ride the elevator if you’ve already had a few) and make your way to the rooftop bar for a night of good music, dancing, and amazing vibes.
Budd Dairy hosts local DJs every Saturday night starting at 8pm, and the rooftop vibes go all the way until midnight. The rooftop bar is spacious with just enough room to get down and have a great night out with your friends. As with all areas at Budd Dairy, the rooftop bar is first come, first served. Get ready to go out with friends, have fun and drinks, and soak in all the vibes.
