Apple is getting ready to announce the new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro devices this fall, and a new report claims to have information as to which colors we will be able to choose from.
According to a Macworld report, citing unnamed independent sources, Apple intends to launch new colors for those who would prefer something a little different.
We’ve seen a few leaks in recent weeks and months that claimed to know what Apple had planned, but this new report appears to be more in-depth than previous ones.
According to Macworld, the iPhone 17 will be available in the following colors:
- Black (same as iPhone 16)
- White (same as iPhone 16)
- Steel Gray (Pantone 18-4005-TPG)
- Green (Pantone 2282 U)
- Purple (Pantone 530 U)
- Light Blue (Pantone 658 U)
(iPhone 17 in Steel Gray)
If you’ve got your eye on the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, there will be four colors on offer, we’re told:
- Black (same as iPhone 16)
- White (brighter/colder than the iPhone 16)
- Light Blue (Pantone 657 U)
- Light Gold (Pantone 11-0604 TPG Gardenia)
When it comes to choosing the iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Pro Max, there will reportedly be five colors on offer, including a new Orange model, which could well be an interesting addition to the lineup.
(iPhone 17 Pro in Dark Blue and Orange)
- Black (same as iPhone 16 Pro)
- White (same as iPhone 16 Pro)
- Gray (similar to Natural Titanium)
- Dark Blue (Pantone 19-4025 TPG Mood Indigo)
- Orange (Pantone 1501243 TCX Papaya)
Apple is expected to announce the new iPhones this coming September, with a release likely to take place a week or so after the big unveiling. We also expect that Apple will take the wraps of new Apple Watch models at the same time, too.
