Apple has added the “Lumon Terminal Pro”—the fictional computer featured in its Apple TV+ series Severance—to its official Mac webpage, in a clever nod to the show following the Season 2 finale, which aired last Friday.
The retro-styled Terminal Pro, prominently featured in Severance, is the machine used by characters like Mark S. and Helly R. for their mysterious “macrodata refinement” work at Lumon Industries.
Created by Dan Erickson and directed in part by Ben Stiller, Severance has become a massive hit, recently breaking records to become the most-watched Apple TV+ series of all time—surpassing even Ted Lasso, the platform’s previous flagship show.
Set in a dystopia, Severance follows employees at the shadowy Lumon Industries, where workers undergo a radical procedure that surgically splits their memories into “work” and “personal” selves. The result: two versions of each person—one who exists only at the office, and another who has no knowledge of their job at all.

Despite its appearance on Apple’s site, the Lumon Terminal Pro isn’t actually for sale. It’s simply a clever marketing tie-in to celebrate the success of Severance.
