Apple has released the fifth episode of its immersive video series, dubbed Adventure, and it’s one that fans of rally cars will want to check out.
The new video, Hill Climb, puts the Apple Vision Pro wearer in the passenger seat of a rally car as it makes its way to a new record time at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
9to5Mac reports on the new episode, noting that it has a particularly impressive shot that makes it feel like you’re right there, perched atop the car as it flies up the hill.
In addition to driving views, the “Hill Climb” episode takes you behind the scenes with driver Laura Hayes as she explains why she’s racing up the side of a mountain. The most impressive footage in the episode is an immersive first-person shot of the road as you speed up the mountain as if you’re riding on the hood of the car. Other driving footage takes place from the perspective of the passenger seat inside the rally car.
You will, of course, need an Apple Vision Pro to watch this content, with previous immersive videos featuring ice diving, cliff climbing, and more.
Ride along with driver Laura Hayes as she attempts to break her own record on the notoriously treacherous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race course.
