After Telus launched a 25th anniversary sale this week, which included a 25GB data bonus on its wireless plans, rivals Rogers and Bell have followed suit on the celebrations it seems.
Both websites of Rogers and Bell have been updated other now include 25GB of bonus data on their wireless plans. Bell added this on late Friday night, noting “25GB bonus included”. Rogers updated their plans to match Telus earlier this week.
Here are Bell’s plans after autopay and bring your own phone:
- $65/125GB
- $75/200GB 5G+ Canada-US
- $95/275GB 5G+ Canada-US-Mexico
Rogers has also quietly added a 25GB data bonus to their plans too:
- $65/125GB
- $75/200GB 5G+ Canada-US
- $95/275GB 5G+ Canada-US-Mexico
Here are the Telus 5G plans from this week that include a 25GB anniversary bonus—they are still $5 to $10 cheaper per month compared to Bell and Rogers:
- $60/125GB
- $70/200GB Canada-US
- $85/275GB Canada-US-Mexico
It’s always nice to see the ‘Big 3’ copying each other, in the name of ‘competition’. However, plans and pricing haven’t matched Freedom Mobile, which has been gobbling up new subscribers faster than Rogers, Telus and Bell as of Q1.
