Looking to jailbreak iOS 18.3? Here’s the latest status update for iPhone users, as well as iPadOS 18.3 jailbreak status update for iPad users.
As you may already know by now, Apple has released final versions of both iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 to public. Does that change anything for jailbreak enthusiasts?
The jailbreak scene has been quiet for a long time now, and there are several reasons behind this situation. The first is obviously the fact that Apple has added a lot features to native iOS which were previously available only as jailbreak tweaks on Cydia store. With Apple opening iOS so much, the community doesn’t have as much a need for jailbreak as they used to previously.
Second is Apple upping the security game, making it ever so hard to find exploits which can be used to jailbreak devices. The jailbreak devs themselves have moved on as well, with a lot of them selling the exploits back to Apple for a ton of money, leaving jailbreak scene mostly in the dark.
While all of this might sound depressing for those of you still looking for a jailbreak, keep in mind that not all is lost as jailbreak scene has surprised us in the past and there’s no reason to say why it can’t happen again no matter how unlikely it seems at this point.
When and if that happens, we’ll be here to provide you with all the latest updates. Until then, we suggest updating to latest version of iOS, which as of this writing is iOS 18.3, and enjoy all of the latest features Apple has to offer, complete with security updates which are the need of the hour.
