NCHeaderPercent displays your battery percentage in your device’s Notification Center headers

If you’re interested in adding some new flair to the headers in your jailbroken iPhone or iPad’s Notification Center interface, then you might take a liking to a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called NCHeaderPercent by iOS developer CydiaGeek.

NCHeaderPercent is an add-on that displays your device’s current battery percentage level in your device’s Notification Center header space rather than the name of the app for which a particular group of notifications is supposed to represent, as depicted in the screenshot example above.

Despite replacing this text, the tweak doesn’t change the way Notification Center works, nor does it affect the notifications that appear in groups. It merely changes the string of text in the Notification Center header to display your battery percentage level. With that in mind, it’s a purely aesthetic tweak.

Since the battery percentage level is already present in the Status Bar, this tweak works best on devices that don’t support displaying the battery percentage in the Status Bar to reduce redundant information from appearing.

With no options to configure, NCHeaderPercent is very much a what-you-see-is-what-you-get tweak, and the only way to disable it is to uninstall it from your device.

Those wanting to give NCHeaderPercent a try can download it for free from the BigBoss repository via their favorite package manager app, such as Sileo or Zebra. The tweak is also advertised as working with jailbroken iOS 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 devices.

Let us know if you plan to add this touch of additional information to your Control Center interface down in the comments section below.
