New iPhone 17 Pro Renders Show Possible Redesign In Silver And Space Black

A new concept image gives us a glimpse of what the iPhone 17 Pro might look like, with a big change to its camera design.

Instead of the usual square-shaped camera module in the corner, this design stretches the camera bump across almost the entire width of the phone. However, the lenses still keep their familiar triangular layout.

3D artist and developer Asher Dipprey first shared these renders in a video for his Patreon subscribers. One of his designs, shown in Space Black, reveals that the camera bump isn’t perfectly centered—it has more space on the left side than the right.

The render seems to be inspired by a leaked CAD image that made rounds last month. While leaker Majin Bu and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman believe that the CAD image itself was fake, they also suggest that it still reflects the general direction Apple is exploring for the iPhone 17 Pro.

Majin Bu, who has a somewhat reliable track record (he correctly predicted the Desert Titanium color for the iPhone 16 Pro), shared that some designers reviewed the CAD image and found it to be a fake. However, they also noted that it aligns with what Apple is reportedly testing.

So far, the reaction to this potential design hasn’t been great. Even Dipprey, who created these high-quality renders, isn’t thrilled, calling the look just “bearable.”
