This month the Apprentice Academy has reached a significant milestone in time, with 1000 apprentices now studying their Apprenticeship programmes with us.
Over the last 10 years The Academy has trained over 5000 employees across England, but for the first time, 1000 learners are now studying simultaneously!
Celebrating with Purpose: Planting 1,000 Trees
To celebrate this milestone, 1,000 trees will be planted to promote growth, sustainability and support climate change. This aligns with The Apprentice Academy’s Sustainable Development Goals, during the same month of COP29 where Keir Starmer pledged to reduce carbon emissions in England by 81% over the next decade.
Growth for Everyone
Here at The Academy, we are committed to helping employers grow a highly skilled and productive workforce, which enables their employees to grow their confidence, competence and career capability (The 3C’s).
By increasing the 3C’s many of our learners then achieve promotions and salary increases, which helps grow the economy, which in turn helps our government to invest in our community services. This is why the GROWTH acronym is embedded into The Apprentice Academy company values to signify our intent for growth and the transformational benefits that growth brings to all.
Popular apprenticeships which support personal, business and economic growth include Procurement, Accounting, Property Management, Project Management, Data Analysis, Business Analyst and Business Administration.
Most apprenticeship programmes we run incorporate business improvement projects which are designed to facilitate increased innovation, efficiency, reduced carbon emissions or some alternative form of change or transformation (and of course growth!).

Next year we will be aligning our 2025 Business Plan with five of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including Partnerships for Goals.

As a training provider who work with over 700 organisations and 1000 learners, we are in a privileged position to identify business trends and want to share these insights (where appropriate) with our partners to support even more positive impact and growth for 2025.
In addition we have partnered with the Ecologi platform to help raise awareness and encourage more participation in green initiatives, actively contributing to the fight against global warming. The 1000 trees planted to celebrate 1000 learners have been planted using this platform and will be planted in Kenya as part of the Eden Reforestation Project – supporting local employment and climate change.
