The Apprenticeships Roadshow 2025 has been celebrated as the most successful yet, drawing in more than 1,100 attendees and over 40 exhibitors. This record turnout makes it one of the county’s most significant events for showcasing apprenticeship and career pathways.
Held at Worcester’s Sixways Stadium, the event, delivered in partnership by Worcestershire Apprenticeships and Careers Worcestershire, gave young people and families from across the county the chance to discover the wide variety of apprenticeship pathways available across many industries.
Local employers including Yamazaki Mazak UK, Ormerod Rutter, Worcester Bosch, and Müller were among the many exhibitors, demonstrating the diverse range of apprenticeship and career opportunities on offer throughout Worcestershire.
Before the main event, members of the Worcestershire Apprenticeships Ambassador Network came together for their second meeting. The session provided an opportunity for updates, networking, and discussions around upcoming initiatives to support schools, events, and young people across the county.
The Worcestershire Apprenticeships Ambassador Network plays a vital role in promoting apprenticeships across the county, with ambassadors sharing their own experiences to inspire others to consider this valuable route into employment.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire Apprenticeships, said: “We are thrilled with the success of this year’s Apprenticeship Roadshow and the enthusiasm shown by everyone involved. The event highlights just how many brilliant apprenticeship opportunities are available across Worcestershire.
“Our ambassadors play an important role in raising awareness and inspiring the next generation to explore the many benefits of apprenticeships. We encourage anyone with experience or passion for apprenticeships to get involved.”
The event marked another significant step in showcasing how local employers and partners are working together to strengthen skills growth and career development across the county.
Anyone interested in supporting apprenticeships, whether as a current or former apprentice, or as someone involved in developing apprentices, is encouraged to get involved and help create Worcestershire’s future workforce.
