Terence Fugazzi, previously of Neptune Systems, has entered into the industry again, partnering with Ryan Snodgrass of Slide-Loc to bring a new product line to market. AvidAqua’s products consist of various modular magnetic designs.
Each magnet is ultrasonically double-sealed inside an ABS shell to provide redundancy against any potential leakage.
The cool new “Sting Ray” frag rack design
AvidAqua offers several products, including the Manta Ray, String Ray, and Sawfish frag rack designs (horizontal linear, curved, and vertical linear). Probe holders, camera mounts for WYZE’s, and one of my favorites from the lineup coral transporters.
The coral transporters come in three sizes: mini, trio, and mega. Each comes with insulated cases and removable magnetic racks, which allow users to easily get frags at a show or friend’s house and then easily pop the entire magnet into their systems.
These products first burst on the scene at Reefstock Denver 2025, and upon first glance, their attention to detail and aesthetics impressed me. Hopefully, Ryan and Terrence’s new approach to magnetics in the industry can inspire greater quality control throughout.
