Elev8 Fun, the growing Family Entertainment Center owner, developer, and operator, has opened its third location in Jensen Beach, FL, a city within the growing Port Saint Lucie Metropolitan Area. The soft opening occurred on May 7th, and was met with local fanfare and praise, with one Jensen Beach resident and Elev8 customer remarking that Elev8 is the first in kind to offer the expansive entertainment to the Jensen Beach and Treasure Coast community. The location features all of Elev8’s classical attractions, including go-karts, bowling, laser tag, minigolf, party rooms, and more, and will now serve as the Treasure Coast Square Mall’s entertainment anchor.
Unusual for an Elev8 location, the space occupies a former Sears that was only 1-floor, allowing full lines of sight and visibility across the venue, further adding to the expansiveness. Also unusual, is that there remains to be space within the building that is earmarked for future development. Andrew Cohen, President of Elev8 Fun, had this to say on the configuration of the box: “We’ve taken a unique approach with this building, and condensed the classical Elev8 attraction offering footprint, which ultimately leaves us additional square footage to further develop or sublease to complimentary and synergistic tenants. We have over 20,000 square feet we can still develop that will keep the location fresh and our customers enticed with new attractions on the horizon”. From pickleball, to paddleball, to VR, to Simulators, a movie theatre, to outdoor/indoor venues such as beer gardens, the possibilities are endless for Elev8’s expansion within its own walls at Jensen Beach, including expanding and amplifying Elev8’s own F&B offerings.
Across the coast, the Elev8 Real Estate team is attending the ICSC Convention in Las Vegas on May 18th, with booths in the Lower South Hall, #2704U. The convention draws thousands of industry leaders from the retail real estate sector, and is a nexus point for networking, deal-making, education, and more. Given Elev8’s expansions plan in Florida and eventually beyond the state, ICSC has proven a valuable tool for sourcing deals and acquiring new locations.
On the global front, PrimeTime Amusements has continued to establish its presence in alternative markets.
