March is usually Texas Pinball Festival month, and in 2025 that’s no exception. Where with previous editions up to seven new pinball titles were launched or revealed at the show, this year the announcements and reveals are more spread over March and (if the rumors are true) April.
Wonderland Amusements have been teasing its upcoming Alice goes to Wonderland game for some time now, so no surprises here. The game is 80% of the size of traditional Arcade pinball machines, and is promoted to have a pricing of less than US $ 1,000. The company did launch a Kickstarter campaign with several tiers and models to fund the production of the game, which reached its goal in two minutes. Now it remains to be seen whether they actually can set up a factory and manufacture all games ordered at the Kickstarter’s pricing points. Excuse the doubt, but over the past decade, several other pinball companies failed to figure out how to manufacture pinball machines and didn’t survive. Let’s hope for a better ending for Wonderland Amusements. For more details, see this Pinball News article.
When it comes to previously unannounced games, Multimorphic was the first to announce its newest P3-based game: Portal.
Portal is expected to be playable at the Texas Pinball Festival. As Pinball News had the exclusive on revealing the game, see the Pinball News website for all details.
Earlier in the month, Multimorphic announced its own line of PinGlass and PinGlass+, being two types of standard-sized playfield glass for pinball machines. The PinGlass+ version is similar to other companies’ Invinsiglass.
To the surprise of many, Turner Pinball announced its second pinball title: Merlin’s Arcade. The game is designed by pinball industry veteran Jon Norris, who publicly pitched ideas for the game years ago.
