I’ve received several messages from parents of teenage boys asking for book recommendations. Although I already have a list of books for teens, I understand the need for books starring teen boys. On this list, I’ve rounded up several great options, several of which star teen girls but include plot elements that many boys enjoy, such as high action, sports, and humor. You’ll find a range of genres including romance, mystery, sports, and dystopian fiction. The books on this list are best for middle schoolers and high schoolers — I’ve included options for younger readers ages 10-14 and a handful for older readers ages 14 and up.
