10 Stained Glass Patterns To Make And Sell

Stained glass has quickly become one of my favorite crafts, and I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I first dove into it! I’m lucky enough to have my own little studio at home now, where I spend hours creating beautiful, colorful pieces that always seem to brighten up my day—and I hope they do the same for others too.

Over the course of my stained glass journey, I’ve learned so much, from perfecting techniques to figuring out what kinds of designs really resonate with people. One thing I’ve discovered is how many different stained glass patterns there are to explore and create, whether you’re a beginner or someone with more experience.

If you’re looking to try your hand at stained glass or want to add some new designs to your collection to sell, I’ve put together a list of patterns that could be a hit in your own shop. Let’s dive in!

It’s designed for beginner to intermediate skill levels, with 6–8 pieces per pattern, and comes in two sizes: small (3.2 x 5.5 inches) and large (3.7 x 6.3 inches). You can easily print them on regular printer paper, so no special setup is needed.

The best part? With a commercial license, you’re free to sell the finished pieces anywhere, like Etsy—just make sure to credit @glassypatterns or @glassyleafstudio. Keep in mind, though, that the patterns themselves can’t be shared, sold, or distributed.
