Employee Spotlight: Radostina B. – The Busy Bee

The beginning of the year can be a hectic time. January is spent recovering from the thrills of Christmas and New Year’s and February is a whirlwind of love and excitement. Fortunately, March is there to bring a gentle tranquillity to it all (except on that one green day!). A much more solemn month, focused on the women and mothers of our lives and transitioning from the cold of winter to the welcoming embrace of spring, March should be a month for respite. Not for our resident busy bee, Radostina B.!

Please say “hello” to Radostina (or Tina, as she prefers), the multi-talented woman of our FastComet team. Not only is she an excellent part of our team–focused and determined to aid all our customers in any way she can–but she is an inspiring individual to us all. So, grab yourself a cup of hot tea with honey and lemon and enjoy a glimpse into Tina’s life as a part of the FastComet team!

Radostina, Please Tell us a Little About Yourself and Your Role

Hey! I’m Tina, and I work as a Customer Care specialist at FastComet. My role is all about helping people—whether it’s solving issues, answering questions, or making sure our customers have the best experience possible. No two days are ever the same, which keeps things exciting.

My day starts with a big cup of tea (because, fun fact, I don’t drink coffee—tea with honey and lemon is my fuel). Then, I take my dog out for a walk, which is the perfect way to wake up and get some fresh air. On some days, I rush to the gym for a quick workout before work, but no matter what, I always manage to get my laptop up and running on time and get ready to start my workday.

Once I’m logged in, it’s all about diving into customer requests, troubleshooting, and finding solutions. I love the challenge of figuring things out, and it’s incredibly rewarding when I can turn a frustrated customer into a happy one.

What I enjoy most is the dynamic environment and the teamwork. Everyone at FastComet is supportive, and there’s always something new to learn. Plus, I’m naturally someone who loves problem-solving, so this job feels like the perfect fit for me!

How Did You Get Started in This Field? What Led You to This Company?

Funny enough, I originally studied radiology and even spent some time studying veterinary medicine. Tech wasn’t really part of my plan, but my boyfriend made everything interesting for me and opened my eyes to the opportunities life has to offer. He encouraged me to give this field a try—and here I am!

FastComet stood out because, despite my limited experience, they gave me a chance. I truly appreciate that because it allowed me to start fresh in my career, and I’m grateful to be part of a company that values growth and potential. I’ve always been very enthusiastic about developing myself and constantly looking for solutions to problems—it’s just part of who I am. So, working in a dynamic environment where problem-solving is key feels like the perfect fit for me.

What is a Valuable Lesson You Have Learned in Your Career so Far?

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that adaptability is everything. No matter how much you plan, things can change in an instant, and being able to adjust, learn, and move forward is what truly makes the difference.

When I first started in this field, I had no background in tech, and honestly, it felt a little intimidating. But I quickly realized that curiosity and persistence matter more than having all the answers from the start. Asking questions, being open to learning, and embracing challenges instead of fearing them has helped me grow both professionally and personally. Funny enough, not everything ran as smoothly as I wanted to, since I am born perfectionist, but after a couple of courses, things were getting there.

Another important lesson is that problem-solving isn’t just about knowing the right answer—it’s about knowing how to find it. Sometimes, the best way to learn is by trial and error. And most of all, I’ve learned that staying positive, even in stressful situations, helps not just me, but also the people around me. A good attitude can turn a tough day into a productive one.

And if there’s one thing I truly believe, it’s that it’s never too late to change your perspective and never too late to learn something new. Life is full of opportunities, and sometimes, the best thing you can do is take a chance on something unexpected—you never know where it might lead you!

Is There Anything Fun or Unexpected About You That Your Colleagues Might Not Know?

Well, there’s actually a lot more to me than just work! For starters, I’m currently writing a book, which is a big passion project for me. It’s a mix of mystery, crime, and a bit of magic, with a touch of dark romance. The story is set in a dark and atmospheric world, where suspense and unexpected twists keep the reader hooked. I love creating complex characters and exploring their emotions and motivations, so writing really lets me dive into my imagination.

I’m also learning to sing, which has been a fun challenge! Currently trying to be Adele like. I am getting there! It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and I’ve finally decided to give it a go. I would be  shy about it if someone asked me to sing in front of people, buuuut you’ll often find me practicing in my free time somewhere hiding from an audience, or while doing something like drawing. I’m definitely enjoying the process.

Speaking of drawing, I love doing it when I need to unwind. I wouldn’t call myself a professional artist, but I enjoy taking inspiration from different images I find online and recreating them on canvas. It’s like a form of meditation for me—bringing ideas to life with colors and shapes. It’s fascinating how a simple image can transform into something new and personal when I paint it. And while I’m at it, I often find myself singing along to songs by Lady Gaga, Adele, Jason Curtis, Arctic Monkeys, and Chase Atlantic, My My Chemical Romance or Bullet For My Valentine. Their music adds to the whole creative vibe and makes the process even more fun!

Finally, I also love training dogs as a hobby. Tried it with my cat Rocky as well but failed. He is just too lazy. I started as such an amateur trainer the moment I saved my lovely dog Lucky from the streets. It was a cute, little, sick ball of fur and love; around 1 kilogram with lots of problems and diseases. A year later he has gained about 35 kilograms and is feeling much better. We’ve learned some basic commands like “stand up,” “sit,” “lay down,” “spin around me,” “house,” and “give paw,” and now we’re experimenting with the “play dead” trick (very hard one). We are also working on his scaredy cat behavior (extremely hard). It’s been such a rewarding experience. I love seeing how my dog picks up on new things! It’s a great way for us to bond, and it keeps us both active and engaged.

I’m also a big fan of The Vampire Diaries—but absolutely cannot handle horror movies. If there’s a jumpscare, I’m out. No second chances, just one big no no for me.

I also try to stay active by going for walks and hitting the gym a few times a week.

Oh, and I recently tried ice skating… and let’s just say it didn’t go as planned. In a dramatic figure skating fail, I managed to fracture both my elbows at the end of January. So now I can officially say that winter sports and I are not on speaking terms in any way…especially skating.

And How Does a Day Outside of Work Look Like for You, Radostina?

Outside of work, my days are usually pretty balanced and chill. I love going for walks, especially when I can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. I often take walks to a village where we have a house—it’s the perfect way to relax and get some fresh air. The best part? Our villa there is almost finished, so I can’t wait to spend more time there and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

On other days, I’m either hitting the gym for a workout, writing, or working on my singing. It’s a mix of staying active and being creative. Sometimes I’ll also take a moment to draw just to unwind. But, of course, there’s always tea involved in whatever I do! The last one that I fell in love with was with chocolate and cherry.

Is There a Personal Goal or Achievement You are Most Proud of or Looking Forward to?

I’m proud of who I am. Looking ahead, I’m excited to finish my book, improve my singing, and just keep growing creatively and professionally.

Beyond that, I have some big dreams. I’m currently saving up to buy a house with a huge yard—somewhere I can truly feel free and escape the big city whenever I need to. One day, I want to open an animal clinic and a shelter to help as many pets as possible. Oh, and I also dream of owning a small, cozy neighborhood café. Just a charming little place where people can relax and enjoy good company.

And, most importantly, I want to leave a mark. I want to be remembered—not just for what I did, but for who I was.

What Advice Would You Give to Someone Interested in Your Career Path, Radostina?

Stay curious and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. The best way to learn is by doing, so take every opportunity to gain experience. And most importantly—enjoy the process! Small steps, one by one will open doors that you did not ever imagine to exist. Every problem has a solution… and every solution comes with a new problem. But that just makes things more interesting, right? If your job involves ice skating or horror making movies, though, maybe rethink it.
