The CLRS Journal of Global Justice & Governance (ISSN: 3049-1940), a diamond-open access, biannual, peer-reviewed, open-access publication hosted by Academy CLRS, invites applications from qualified individuals to join our distinguished panel of reviewers. Dedicated exclusively to advancing scholarship in Global Justice and Global Governance, the journal upholds the highest standards of academic rigor, adhering to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Guidelines and SCOPUS Transparency principles.
Role of Reviewers
Reviewers are integral to maintaining the journal’s commitment to scholarly excellence and ethical publishing. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed, objective, and constructive peer reviews of submitted manuscripts
- Providing timely feedback that aligns with the journal’s focus on Global Justice and Global Governance
- Upholding ethical review practices as outlined in COPE Guidelines
Qualifications
We seek reviewers with specialized expertise in Global Justice and/or Global Governance, meeting the following minimum qualifications:
- An advanced degree (PhD, JD, LLM, or equivalent) in law, international relations, political science, or a related discipline; or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of substantive research or professional experience in these fields
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Global Justice:
- International human rights law and justice frameworks
- Transitional justice and post-conflict reconciliation
- Global equity and protections for marginalized or displaced populations
- International criminal justice (e.g., ICC, war crimes, genocide accountability)
- International Intellectual Property Law (e.g., access to medicines, traditional knowledge protection)
- Global Health Justice (e.g., equitable healthcare access, pandemic law)
- Migration and Refugee Law (e.g., asylum rights, statelessness)
- Economic Justice (e.g., tax justice, labor rights in supply chains)
- Cultural Justice (e.g., cultural heritage protection, indigenous rights)
- Global Governance:
- Legal frameworks of global institutions (e.g., UN, WTO, WHO, WIPO)
- Environmental governance and climate justice
- Global economic governance and trade law
- Transnational legal systems and sovereignty issues
- International Intellectual Property Law (e.g., TRIPS, digital IP governance)
- Cybersecurity and Digital Governance (e.g., data privacy, cyber treaties)
- Global Security and Peacebuilding (e.g., peacekeeping, arms control)
- Global Financial Regulation (e.g., banking laws, cryptocurrency governance)
- Space Law and Governance (e.g., satellite regulation, space treaties)
- Global Justice:
- A strong publication record, significant professional experience (e.g., legal practice, policy work), or prior peer-review engagement in these domains
- Commitment to ethical scholarship and transparency, consistent with COPE Guidelines and SCOPUS Transparency standards
