Fox Williams has today announced the promotion of Rebecca Facey and Lucy Sorell to the partnership, effective 1 May 2025. The firm has also promoted six lawyers to legal director and a further five junior lawyers across its Dispute Resolution, Employment, Real Estate, and Commerce & Technology teams.
Rebecca’s and Lucy’s appointments bring the firm’s partnership to 52 partners, supported by 93 other fee-earners. These developments reflect Fox Williams’ continued growth and its strong commitment to developing talent at every level across the firm.
Rebecca, who joined Fox Williams in 2018 from Druces, is a key member of the firm’s real estate team. She advises investors, financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate occupiers, particularly within the technology and fintech sectors, on a broad range of commercial property matters. Rebecca is also an active contributor to the firm’s Fashion Law and FinTech groups and a member of the ESG committee.
Lucy joined Fox Williams’ employment team in 2022 from Deloitte Legal. She advises businesses and senior executives in the financial services and fintech sectors on employment issues, including regulatory matters, contractual arrangements, and dispute resolution. She is also recognised for her client training initiatives and for leading an external network for HR professionals.
Both Rebecca and Lucy have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to mentoring and supporting trainees and junior lawyers. In their new roles, they will continue to help shape the future of the firm, both within their practices and across the wider Fox Williams community.
