A newly awarded multi-year contract with the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) will provide the Federal Judiciary, including the Supreme Court of the United States and all U.S. circuit, district and bankruptcy courts, as well as federal public defenders, with access to Westlaw Precision with CoCounsel, ‘now with GenAI’ Practical Law, and CoCounsel. The financial terms of the deal are not disclosed.

While AO has a longstanding relationship with Thomson Reuters and the Courts have long used Westlaw, it is significant milestone that the Courts will now be using TR’s generative AI offerings. TR has long argued that the right GenAI assistant can streamline court operations and ease the burden on legal teams.
