OnePlus has announced a new feature for OnePlus 13 users. The feature allows users to take better low-light pictures using Instagram’s in-app camera. The new feature builds on the Night Mode of the OnePlus 13’s native Camera app.
OnePlus has teamed up with Instagram to integrate this feature. This lets users take superior night shots directly within Instagram without compromising quality or switching between apps.
To use the OnePlus 13’s Night Mode on Instagram, ensure you’re running the latest version of the Instagram app.
Night Mode on Instagram explained
When using Instagram’s camera in low-light conditions, a Moon icon will appear at the top of the screen.
This indicates that Night Mode is activated. To take a picture, simply tap the camera shutter button and hold the phone steady for a few seconds. OnePlus has provided comparison images demonstrating the difference in picture quality with and without Night Mode activated.
OnePlus has not yet revealed plans to extend Night Mode functionality to Instagram’s camera on its other devices. However, the brand has expressed a commitment to incorporating user feedback into new features and hinted that “more exciting updates are on the horizon.”
This collaboration between OnePlus and Instagram is a significant step forward in enhancing users’ photo-taking capabilities, particularly in challenging low-light environments.
