Beacon Hill Is One Of Our Favorite Neighborhoods In Seattle

Just south of downtown Seattle is one of our favorite neighborhoods, Beacon Hill. You will often find Chavi and I celebrating a major anniversary or birthday at The Coupe & Flute. On Taco Tuesdays, we meet our friend Shawn at Baja Bistro for the best margaritas, and of course tacos. Around the corner is Oak where we often take our vegan pals for the best treats in the city. And no tour of Beacon Hill would be complete without us talking about Tush and the Clock-Out Lounge. More on that later!!!

But first check out Donna’s tour of our newest listing in Beacon Hill:

Reel coming soon!

Everything We Love About Beacon Hill in Seattle

Let’s dive in and give you a secret tour of one of our favorite neighborhoods, Beacon Hill. Little known secret but Kim and I are considering moving to Beacon Hill. It was really fun to write this blog because it reminded us why we are so excited to make this big move.

Where is Beacon Hill in Seattle?

Beacon Hill is a large and diverse neighborhood running south along the east side of the I-5 corridor from First Hill to Skyway. This neighborhood is so large it is divided into three sections: North Beacon Hill, Beacon Hill or Mid-Beacon Hill, and South Beacon Hill. Because it runs from the top of the ridge almost to Rainier Valley, it offers both east- and west-facing views. It is also packed with micro-neighborhoods that each have their own vibe.

Why Do We Love This Neighborhood?

We love this neighborhood because of the diversity it offers, including cultures, housing, and activities. Walk along Chief Sealth Trail in the south end of Beacon Hill, enjoy some of the best food in the city in North Beacon Hill, and hit one of our favorite drag shows at the Clock-Out Lounge in Mid-Beacon Hill. I love the variety of food options available in Beacon Hill. I love that you can go to what we fondly call the “proletariat golf course” at Jefferson and play a round or two. A few of my other fave things include its quirky art walks, its food forest, its views of both the Olympics and the Cascades, its ease to Capitol HIll, Downtown, the ID, Columbia City, and Seward Park. There is not much this neighborhood doesn’t have. There is so much to love!

A Few Of Our Favorite Small Businesses on Beacon Hill

I could take up a LOT of time talking about my favorite places in Beacon Hill. You can get great coffee at the Station, Fresh Flours, or Victrola. Grab some yummy Mexican food and maybe a surprise drag performance at Baja Bistro. Chow down on wood-fired pizza and other yummy Italian goodies at Bar del Corso. Enjoy some of the best vegan food or a killer burger at The Oak. Take your boo to a romantic dinner complete with a Champagne Flight at The Coupe & Flute. Be overwhelmed (in the best way) with the flavors of the Philippines at Musang. And see one of the most fantastic drag shows in the city hosted by the divine Ms. Betty Wetter at the Clock Out Lounge.

This Amazing Home We Just Listed On Beacon Hill

Speaking of the Clock-Out Lounge, just blocks away from this little gem is our new listing on 26th Ave S. This gem of a Mid-Century home has been lovingly updated by the owners for their own enjoyment, and it shows. This home oozes with character and has a decent amount of yard space for you and your furry friends. There is even a cute little shed in the back that would be perfect for an office, work out room or crafting/hobby space. The previous owners also converted the garage to another bedroom and added a powder room, which our clients updated along with the chic kitchen.

This home is even newly painted inside and fluffed outside. It’s staged by our top stager Von Rocko Homes, and I am in love with how it turned out.
