Recapping Our Dreamy Desert Event

The Agency Global Forum 2025 has officially soared to new heights. This year’s event, held in sunny Palm Desert, California, brought together hundreds of top real estate pros from our growing global community—we’re now in 13 countries with 130 offices (and counting).

Embracing the aviation-centric theme “To New Heights,” attendees spent three days networking,  learning via expert-led workshops, getting inspired by powerhouse speakers (hello, Jay Shetty!), and, of course, celebrating in true Agency style. Read on for a recap of our dreamy desert gathering.

Starting on a High Note

Forum kicked off with an on-theme check-in and registration at the JW Marriott, where attendees received branded luggage tags and passports, setting the stage for a transporting experience. Mamita’s welcome drinks, served by air stewards with airline beverage carts, added a playful touch to our arrivals area.

The day featured The Agency’s 3rd Annual Golf Classic, presented by Amalfi, offering a competitive yet relaxed environment for networking. The excitement continued at The Agency Pool Party, presented by Interluxe, where attendees mingled and enjoyed the desert sun.

The day culminated in the vibrant Forum Festival— a tribute to the desert’s Coachella connection— featuring DJ Tess, aura photography by SoulGlow, and permanent jewelry by Sis Kiss.

Market Insights, Updates & A Lively Happy Hour

On the morning of day two, attendees stopped by the Forum Fueling Station, which was stocked with coffee and teas provided by Aclara, before heading into the “State of The Agency” presentation, led by CEO & Founder Mauricio Umansky and President Rainy Hake Austin.

This was followed by a deep dive into the economic landscape with the “Global Economic & Housing Market Update” by Michael Hans, CIO of Citizens Bank. The discussions continued with cutting-edge insights into AI and real estate, led by EVP of Digital Zane Burnett, and strategic listing approaches from Realscout CEO Andrew Flachner. Rainy closed the morning with a talk on “The Art of Connection.”

“I have always said that, in real estate, connection is everything,” says Mauricio. “Forum brings us together and helps strengthen the genuine bonds that set The Agency apart and define our company culture. As we navigate industry changes, our collaboration and innovation keep us motivated, positive, and equipped for what’s next. “

After a networking lunch—courtesy of SignMore—the afternoon session brought powerful conversations, starting with “Strategies for Building a Thriving Referral Business,” moderated by Founder & Vice Chairman Billy RosePanels on global expansion, negotiation mastery, and lead generation followed, featuring expert insights from top agents and industry leaders.

The evening festivities began with a lively Happy Hour, where United Wholesale Mortgage provided the beverages. The exclusive “A Lounge: 2025 Chairman Event” wrapped up the night, offering a private (black-tie) setting where our top performers were honored.

Mindset, Social Media Strategies & More

After morning Pilates with DaLette Anderson, the final day of Forum got underway with a powerful keynote, “The Elevation Effect,” delivered by Pastor Robert Madu.

Attendees were then treated to a speech from bestselling author, and award-winning podcast host of On Purpose, Jay Shetty, who shared transformative insights on mindfulness and business success.

Following lunch, breakout sessions touched on social media strategies, The Agency’s 2025 marketing campaign, authenticity in business, luxury client psychology, and business growth strategies. Panelists from across The Agency’s global network shared expertise on attracting high-net-worth clients. The Agency’s Global Forum wrapped up with a high-energy musical performance that left our team empowered, motivated, and ready to elevate their business.

Our closing party, dubbed “Departing the Desert,” featured music by DJ Chantel Jeffries, which inspired guests to dance late into the night.
