TripAdvisor has ranked Siesta Key Beach as the No. 1 beach in the US and No. 4 in the world!
This comes to no surprise. I’ve seen our beach ranked this numerous times and I may be a little biased, but I genuinely believe it deserves the attention that it gets.
Siesta Key’s powdery white sands have long been a point of pride for us locals.
Did you know that the sand is nearly pure quartz? That’s why it’s so soft. And it actually doesn’t get hot under the sun. It’s like you’re walking on a cloud. Magical! There’s something about the way the sand feels between your toes, and the water that just glistens turquoise blue.
It’s no wonder this place has caught the world’s eye, but for those of us who get to experience it every day, it’s always been special.
However, can I be completely honest? I need to be better about visiting Siesta Key. I mean, people travel across the country/world to see it and I’ll go a whole year and not visit! I am more of a boater, but there really is something special about being out on the beach.
And the sunsets! There’s a reason people come here to see the sky transform into a canvas of pink, purple, and orange each evening. It’s breathtaking.
Being ranked #1 in the U.S. and #4 in the world is a huge honor. If you haven’t visited our beautiful Siesta Key Beach, definitely put it on your bucket list!
