In Freeport, Maine Wolfe’s Neck is brewed by Maine Beer Company. This is a 6.5% IPA that is brewed with local malts from Maine Malt House, Mosaic, El Dorado, and Sabro hops. This IPA is named after the Wolfe’s Neck research farm. This IPA pours a slighly hazed yellow color with a one-finger slowe fading white head. The aroma is citru fruit, pine, and bitterness. The flavor is clean, citrusy, hoppy and smooth. You can really taste each flavor. This has a meduim mouthfeel. Then it comes to a bitter citrus fruit finish. The aftertaste is smooth but bitter, but not overly bitter. It has just the perfect amount of bitterness. This is a great beer that deserves an A+. It is good from the first sip to the last. I highly recommend Wolfe’s Neck. It is very flavorful and delicious. Please stay safe, be kind to each other, and remember to enjoy responsibly! Cheers!
