“A Goal Without a Plan Is Just a Wish”. A dear friend of mine had this quote on the bottom of all her emails and even though she is gone, I still follow her wise advice. Plan early! My biggest plan has always been to find ways to get out of the Texas Heat in the summer! Most of us can take it until the 4th of July but after that, it’s long and HOT. So my first plan is to go to cool San Miguel de Allende in August. I have rented a lovely house with a cook and housekeeper in El Centro, close to all the best shops and restaurants. The dates are August 16-23 but I will consider extending it if there is more demand. Northern Europe is also appealing in the summer but I will probably give myself a rest after last year’s marathon. In May I will be teaching a workshop at Port Aransas and maybe in the Brenham area during Bluebonnet season. My oil painting classes continue Monday through Thursday and the Winter Session starts this week. If any of that sounds interesting to you, please email me here.
