After letting this painting sit for a couple of months, I was ready to finish it off. I put the vase on a table, added some fallen leaves and petals. When I started this painting, I had a beautiful fresh arrangement of flowers from my florist. Once they died, I used a photograph as reference, and added more petals to the composition. The vase is interesting, and was sitting around the studio holding pencils and brushes. This painting is drying in the studio. I can’t wait to get it all framed up! Thanks, KMW
